I have spent this morning converting some of my old #cvs repositories to #git.
I have a history of lots of useless development projects, but one of the funnier were an #IRC bot I built from scratch in Perl. That was more than 15 years ago.
I built Robot (yes, that was the boring name of my IRC bot) in Perl Object Environment (POE, http://poe.perl.org/) around POE::Component::IRC.
I even made a split-screen terminal interface in #ncurses!
